
The “AI-based Robotics 2024” (KIRO2024) conference organized by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) together with the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) took place for the first time in Berlin in June 2024. The KIRO2024 was the official launch of the Robotics Institute Germany (RIG).
At the first German Robotics Conference in Nuremberg, the integration of KIRO2025 at ERF2025 was announced. This year’s conference will serve as the official opening of the European Robotics Forum (ERF). There is a special KIRO programme centered around AI-based robotics, the German and European robot/AI strategy, workshops of the Digital Ecosystem for AI-based Robotics (RoX), as well as initiatives from the Robotics Institute Germany and much more.
